The world around me can trigger responses for me to explore further. For example, in one of my recent projects,‘The Daydreaming Bus', where I was responding to a brief called 'Magical Enthusiasm'; gave me the opportunity to explore things that interests me such as London buses and your journey within them. I focused on how I could reinvent observed textures and details from the London Cityscape as well as the bus interior in an imaginary way. I did this by responding to different ideas quickly and picking out details that perhaps many of us would not notice at first glance.
The drawings were then used to make a small poem book that I have written to underline the importance of your journey within the bus and that 'Every Journey Matters'- as mentioned by Transport for London's, (TFL) promotional campaign.
